Youlanda Darlene Hesslund, 50, of Nashville, died Friday, April 24, 2026.
She was born Oct. 20, 1975, in Ashdown, the daughter of Hazel Laverne McDaniel and the late John Robert Burch.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Wesley Arrington and Donald Woody.
Survivors include: her husband of seven years, Donald Hesslund of Nashville; her three children and son-in-law, Samantha Hobbs and Mykel Shields of Murfreesboro; Joseph Hobbs Jr. of Nashville; and Don Hobbs of Louisiana; a stepson, Chris Kerns; her four brothers, Merritt Woody of Little Rock, Ralph “Abe” Woody of Nashville; Turner Woody of Oklahoma, and Freddie Woody of Nashville; also grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements by Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
