Lynda Janet Shankles, 80, of Dierks died April 21, 2026.
She was born Aug. 6, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the daughter of the late L.D. and Leona Ray Allen.
She was a retired LPN and was a member of New Shiloh Baptist Church in Mineral Springs where she played the piano for worship services.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Shankles; one son, Steve Shankles; and one daughter, Amy Mooneyhan.
Survivors include: a son, Tim Shankles of Mineral Springs; also grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Sunshine Cemetery under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
