Patricia Ann Blakely, age 87 of Nashville, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Nov. 21, 2025. She was born on Aug. 2, 1938, in Nashville to the late Willie Vachel and Marie Puryear.
Patricia was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Nashville. She served many years as the Children’s Department Director and was very passionate about Operation Christmas Child. She was the depiction of a true Christian woman with a servant’s heart. Patricia worked as a teacher until retirement. Following retirement, she was an active Hospital Auxiliary member and taught ESL to Tyson employees. She thoroughly enjoyed being a spectator at her grandchildren’s events and was an avid Scrapper and Razorback Fan. Patricia was a Scrapper majorette and could still twirl a baton even in her ailing years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby Blakely.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Mike Duke of Firebaugh, California and Susan and Marty Renfrow of Nashville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Audria (Patrick) Barr, Shelby (Trey) Witherspoon, Ashley (Gabriel) Gonzalez, Sara (John) Gay, Blakely Duke, and Amity Duke; six precious great-grandchildren, Lily, Ava, Jake, Sloane, Trip, and Ollie; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Latimer Funeral Chapel in Nashville, with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. with Ed McCrary officiating. Graveside services will take place at Ozan Cemetery at Bingen, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
