The next head football coach for the Mineral Springs will be a familiar face.
At the MS School Board’s meeting of March 18, Jarrod Jackson was hired to fill the vacancy. He comes to the Hornets as former head coach and athletic director at Foreman, but his resume includes time he spent as a PE teacher at Mineral Springs.
Jackson was among 30 applicants considered for the job, MS Supt. JonDavid Amerson said last week.
Jackson has also been in coaching football at Farmington and at West Memphis. He was a graduate assistant at Henderson State University.
Jackson was hired by unanimous vote of the board.
