
Ruby V. Ray, 93, of Hot Springs, Ark., went home to Jesus Feb. 22, 2025, at home with her children by her side. She was born July 18, 1931 in Royal, Ark., to Tom E. and Iva E. Rhodes Muncrief.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and had a tremendous love for her savior, Jesus Christ. She was active in The Assembly in Hot Springs and, formerly, in the Assembly of God in Nashville, Ark.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years, Phillip Ray, three sisters, four brothers and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include: her daughter Virginia, son Daniel and his wife Michele, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as very special friends, Pam and Beau Fite.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, at 155 Section Line Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
A celebration of Ruby’s life will be 10 a.m. Thursday Feb. 27, with Pastors Mike Mason of The Assembly and Joe Kelly of The Living Rock Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Lowe Cemetery in Royal, AR.
