The Dierks Chamber of Commerce is currently sponsoring the “Toad Thumper Bass Bounty” at the Dierks City Pond where some tagged fish are worth $100.
The event is being held in partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission with 17 largemouth bass tagged and released in the city pond. Toad Thumper Lure Co., is offering a prize package of lures for each one caught and the chamber is reward anglers with an additional $100 for two of the specifically numbers fish.
If a tagged fish is caught, anglers must clip off the tag close to the fish’s back and then call 870-451-2058 and inform them of the catch and tag number.
