Scrapper football players were recognized for their accomplishments during the season at the Rotary Club Football Banquet Saturday night, Feb. 2, in the Nashville High School cafeteria.

Coaches reviewed season highlights and presented a number of awards during the event.

Senior Kasen Morgan was named the Rotary Most Valuable Player. Superintendent Doug Graham presented the award.

Permanent Team Captains were Logan Pennington and Joe Branch.

Other awards include the following:

Outside linebackers – Skyler Gibson and Bryce Perrin

Defensive line – Jaydon Williamson, Makhi Johnson and Brayden Erby

Wide receivers – Ja’Marion Conway, Kasen Morgan and Alexis Brizo

Defensive backs – Roochie Wiley and Khaleel Canady

Offensive backs – Tucker Dixon and Karson Chambers

Offensive line – Jamison McIntosh and Luke Lacie

Practice players – Landon Arbuthnott and Brady Dixon

Brian Bearden Award for Manager of the Year – Jacee Martin

Jim Worley Unseen Senior Award – Joe Branch

Members of the Homecoming court were introduced at the banquet.

The Scrapper cheerleaders were recognized. They recently finished seventh nationally during competition in Dallas.
