Christian Trombley and Sarah Lamb were both awarded a trip to Atlanta, Ga., to attend the National 4-H Congress because of their impressive record books turned in earlier this year. National Congress has been a 4-H tradition for more than 100 years and recognizes state and national winners. Youth that attend this event participate in 100 service-learning hours, workshops designed to develop and enhance their leadership skills, plenary sessions with outstanding speakers and entertainers, tours, recreational opportunities throughout the city, and listen to keynote speaker Dr. Laymon Hicks. There are youth from across the country that make this a memorable experience for our youth. Lamb and Trombley are pictured here with Howard County 4-H coordinator Samantha Horn.
