Patsy Ruth Harper, 87, of Nashville, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024.
She was born Oct. 13, 1937, in Old Washington, to the late Andy and Vira Green Young.
She was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ and was a former police radio dispatcher for the Howard County Sheriff’s department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Alan Harper and a brother, Jimmy Young.
Survivors include: her two sons, Tony Jackson and Jimbo Jackson and his wife, Diane; one daughter, Sherry Skinner and her husband, Jesse; four siblings, Billy Tom Young, Betty Priddy, Lynda Osburn and Max Young; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at the Latimer Funeral Chapel with Alan Green and Welsey Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the Bingen-Ozan Cemetery at Bingen under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
