Annual nut sale underway to raise scholarship funds

The Mine Creek Conservation District is now taking orders forArkansas-grown shelled pecans and raw shelled peanuts to raise money for the district’s annual scholarship program.

The district sponsors a $500 scholarship each year to a Howard County high school senior who plans on pursuing a career in a conservation related field of study. The funds raised from the nut sale goes to this scholarship fund.     

The selection includes:

Fresh Shelled Pecans halves or pieces 1 lb bag-$10 

English Walnuts 1 lb Bag $10

Cashews 1 lb bag $10

Mixed Nuts 1 lb bag $10

Candied Pecans 1 lb bag-$10

Milk Chocolate Pecans, Praline Pecans, Amaretto Pecans, Dark Chocolate Pecans, White Chocolate Pecans, Honey Toasted Pecans, Cinnamon Spiced Pecans, Pecan Brittle,  Double Dipped Chocolate Peanuts , Milk Chocolate Almonds, Dark Chocolate Almonds. 

Fudge ½ lb Containers

The last day to  place an order will be Oct. 24 with the pick-up date will be second week in November.
