Ada Joyce Coleman, age 84 of Ben Lomond, Ark., passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Shreveport, La. She was born on Oct. 30, 1939, to the late Ellis Thompson, Sr. and Irma Green Thompson.
Mrs. Coleman was a member of the Brownstown Community Church. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Additionally, for many years she helped her husband, Frank, on their farm.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Frank Coleman, and two brothers, David Thompson and Ellis Thompson, Jr.
Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Graveside services will begin at 3 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Ben Lomond Cemetery with Bro. Billy Hatridge officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
