Larry VanTyle, 81, passed from this life June 30, 2024. He was born July 9, 1942 in Patriot, Ind. to Leon VanTyle and Opal (Strautmann) VanTyle. Larry enjoyed gardening, watching racing, and he loved his dog, Gizmo. Larry was a truck driver and worked at Nashville Trucking company.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Auerila VanTyle; his parents, Leon and Opal VanTyle; his sister, Ethel Marie Herbert; and his dog Gizmo.
He is survived by his children, Michael Leon VanTyle of Clearwater, Fla., Curtis Jay VanTyle and wife Kathleen of Alpharetta, Ga., Jacque Harris and husband Paul of Ocala, Fla., Larrie Ann Miller and husband Aaron of Indianapolis, Ind.; step-son, Jimmy Foreman of Haskell, Ark.; brothers, Sam Field and wife Marita of Greensburg, Ind., Wayne Field of Columbus, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024, in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home, Ft. Smith.
