Joyce M. Chambers, 96, of Nashville died April 26, 2024.
She was born Jan. 7, 1928, in Nashville, the daughter of the late Shelvy Jones Garney and Gracie Elizabeth Stone Garney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis R. Chambers; her sisters, Rema Grady and Shirley Terry.
Survivors include: five daughters, Marge Smith (Joe), Barbara Hughes (Leo), Brenda Washburn (Terry), Marsha Stuart (Joe Paul), and Sheila Miller (Bobby); also grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A public visitation will be held Tuesday April 30, from 12-1:30 p.m. at Nashville Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Nashville. Dr. Lee Liggins will officiate.
