Mark Wayne Richard, age 68, of Nashville, passed away Monday April 1, 2024, in Nashville after a short illness. He was born Nov. 13, 1955, in Abbeville, La., to the late Duras and Cecile Baudoin Richard.
Mark was a retired truck driver for Millwood Trucking. Mark never met a stranger; he loved talking to people and having an enjoyable time. He loved to fish, camp and being in the outdoors. He loved most of all, his grandchildren. He was the best Papa a kid could have, especially his. He also loved his little companion, his dog Sophia.
Preceding Mark in death were his parents.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his daughter; Kami and husband Eddie Frey of Marion, Ill.; his two siblings, Susan Robin of Abbeville, La., and Douglas and wife Etta Richard of Greers Ferry, Ark.; his significant other for many years, Julie O’Bryant of Nashville; three grandchildren, Dax, Caden, and Hartley Frey of Marion, Ill.; numerous nieces, nephews, and a large host of friends.
