Pauline Tipton passed from this life on Tuesday, March 25, 2024. Pauline was born June 24, 1930, in Langley Ark., to Curtis and Stella Short.
Pauline married Oneal Tipton on May 17, 1947. Oneal preceded her in death in 1964 leaving her with four children to raise. Pauline loved working in her garden and making flowers. She attended Umpire Holiness Church.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband and her parents along with her brother Curtis Short Jr and Dewitt Short.
She is survived by Milton and wife Lynn Tipton of Lockesburg, Dennis and wife Gloria Tipton of Dierks, Olena and husband Butch Morris of Umpire and Paul and wife Shana Tipton of Texarkana Texas; grandchildren Amanda Tipton, Will Tipton, Joanie Lawrence, Dakota Tipton, Tabitha Richards, Corey Tipton, Cheyenne Cheatwood, Shelby Hernandez and Monica Oglesby; great -grandchildren Justin Burt, Colby Sneed, Alyssa Thigpen, Colton and Trinity Tipton, Andrew, Qwensea and Bailey Heifner, Austin, Skylar and Destiny Tipton, Cannon and Kase Tipton, Austin Richards, Alexis Richards, Knoxley Richards, Cidny Pettigrew, Caitlen Ball, Kai Oglesby, Brooklyn and Brantley Cheatwood; great-great-grandchildren Avah Sneed, Tatum and Kayslee Burt, Oliver Patterson, Natalie Pettigrew and Elijah Ball.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.

Funeral service for Mrs. Tipton will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Athens Holiness Church in Athens, Ark., with Bro. Don Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Athens Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
