The election schedule for Early voting for the Preferential Primary Election in Howard County has been released by County Clerk Keri Teague.
Early voting will be at the Carter Day Training Center, 200 Lake Nichols in Nashville, beginning Tuesday, Feb. 20, and ending Monday, March 4.
Early voting will be from 8-6 on weekdays, and 10-4 on Saturdays Feb. 24 and March 2.
Election Day
On election day, Tuesday, March 5, there will be four voting centers in the county at which any qualified county resident may vote. Voting centers will be open 7:30-7:30.
Voting places include the following:
• Carter Day Center, Nashville.
• Mineral Springs Methodist Church.
• Dierks Community Center.
• Umpire Fire Department.
Are you registered?
The last day to register to vote was Monday Feb. 5, 2024. The last day to transfer voting jurisdiction will be Friday, March 1, at the clerk’s office in the courthouse.
Absentee ballots may be requested by calling (870) 845-7502.
Clerk Teague said, “If you would like to look at your sample ballot, go to the website, put in your first name, last name and date of birth, click on look up, scroll to the bottom of the page — D-Democrat; Np- Non-Partisan; or R- Republican.”

The Pike County Election Commission has established vote centers for all registered voters in Pike County. All voters will be eligible to vote at any Vote Center. The four Vote Centers are located at:
