Vandy Stovall, Jr., 76, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, in Lake Village, Ark., to the late Vandy Stovall, Sr., and Myrtle Hill Stovall.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie Stovall; and two brothers, Charles and Lee Edward Stovall.
He was baptized at the Dodson Street Church of Christ in Nashville.
Survivors include: daughters Melissa (Steven) Walls of Mineral Springs, Mary Ann Haney of Hope, Melisha Hendrix of Nashville, Melinda Stovall of Nashville, Monica (Jason) Pettus of Mabelvale, Ark.; siblings Dorothy Smith, Mildred Hill, Roosevelt Stovall, Lloyd Huskey, Maple Hughes, JoAnn Arrington, and Mae Hawkins; Also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 2-5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at M&H Memorial Chapel in Hope. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Dodson Street Church of Christ with Bro. Juerga Smith officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Nashville.
