Brenda Janette Ross, age 80 of McCaskill, Ark., passed away on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at her home. She was born on Nov. 27, 2023, in McCaskill to the late Earl Jester and Clara Bell Hile Jester.
Brenda was a member of the Balls Chapel Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College. She worked as a teller for the Bank of Blevins and as a farmer at JB Farms. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Gene Jester.
Survivors include: her loving husband of 61 years, John Allen Ross; son, Mark Ross and wife Susan; daughter, Janet Copeland and husband Rick; two sisters, Earline Jester and Debbie Jester Fox; three grandchildren, Alan Copeland and wife Brooke, Jana Stewart and husband, Zac and Carson Ross; four great-grandchildren, Cove and Lennon Copeland and Maverick and Ali Stewart; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023, at Harris Cemetery with Roger Cox officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
