The search for a new CEO at Howard County Memorial has attracted more than 50 applications, according to HMH board member Julie Rhodes.

“We are so pleased with the candidate pool for the new CEO,” Rhodes said. “The search has been narrowed down to three applicants. All interviews have concluded, and we anticipate deciding soon.”

Howard Memorial is “a wonderful facility that has a very robust executive team that is leading the charge, and the directors of every department are second to none,” Rhodes said. “We feel very strongly that we do not want to make a hasty decision, and we are in a unique position that we do not need to.”

The Howard Memorial board “would like to publicly thank all the employees of HMH that do their best every day and provide top-notch service to our area,” Rhodes said.
