Amy Natalie O’Neal Coffman, age 48, of Kirby, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023.
She was born on June 4, 1975, in Texarkana, Texas, the daughter of James Alton O’Neal, Jr. and Quin Johnson. She was preceded in death by her fraternal grandparents, Alton and Sue O’Neal; and her maternal grandparents, Huey and Edrese Cogburn.
Amy married the love of her life, Adam Coffman, on January 12, 2001. She was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church. Amy spent 25 years as an RN before spending the last 5 years with Adam working a chicken farm. She loved helping others. She played with her dogs, treating them just like her babies. Most of all Amy loved being with her family, she was a wonderful wife, daughter, and mommy. Amy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Adam Coffman of Kirby; her father and step-mother, Jim and Susan O’Neal of Murfreesboro; her mother and step-father, Quin and Jack Johnson of Kirby; her two daughters, Hallie Coffman and her fiancé, Scott Weems, and Hannah Coffman and her boyfriend, Josh Butler; her two bonus grandbabies; her two brothers, Nathan and Hayley O’Neal of Hope and Chris and Tenille Johnson of Kirby; her sister, Cindi Johnson of Fort Smith; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood.
Funeral services were on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood with Bro. Travis Young, Bro. Kevin Smead, and Bro. Rob Miller officiating.
Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
