Rita Sue Dove, age 69, of Russellville, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023. She was born Aug. 12, 1954, in Dayton, Texas, to Bobby Joe Henry and Mary Mildred Hicks Henry.
Rita spent a 40-year career in human resources touching the lives of countless employees throughout the state. She was an avid gardener. Rita enjoyed spending time outdoors. Scrapbooking was also a favorite hobby.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Wayne Dove.
Her survivors include: two children, Amy Marion and husband Larry of Nashville, and Brian McAnelly and wife Michelle of Pencil Bluff, Ark.; two sisters, Debbie Fontaine of Magnolia, and Trish Henry of Russellville; 10 grandchildren, Sadie, Sophie, Molly, Braiden, Taylor, Alex, Emille, Luke, Braxton, and Noah; two great-grandchildren, Maverick and Charlie.
Graveside services at Bluff Springs Cemetery near Nashville will be Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at 2 p.m. with Tim Bowlin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
