Gary Lynn Lawrence, age 61, of Nashville, Ark., passed away on Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, in Nashville.
He was born on April 20, 1962, to the late George Henry Lawrence and Jennifer LaQueta Gentry Lawrence.
Lynn was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ. He loved his family, “his girls,” as he affectionately called them, and his grandson, Austin. He was a truck driver and was known as “Goatroper.” He enjoyed farming, fishing, big trucks and hanging out with his buddies.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 33 years, Tammy Lockeby Lawrence; his two daughters, Amber Jackson and husband Jarrod, and Megan Lawrence; his mother-in-law, Fannie Mae Lockeby; his brother, George Brett Lawrence; his grandson, Austin Lee Jackson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, in the Latimer Funeral Chapel in Nashville with David Williams and David Mauk officiating. Interment will follow in Ozan Cemetery at Bingen, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
