Steven William Adams, age 72, of Nashville, Ark., passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2023, in Nashville, Ark. He was born July 6, 1951, in Texarkana, Ark., the son of Benjamin F. Adams Jr. and Annie Beatrice Adams.

In that time, he led a life that was full of family, friends and colleagues. Steve made the kind of connections that would last forever, not only from his live and wonderful sense of humor but his work ethic, as well. Steve worked as a master electrician, gas electric engineer, general contractor, master woodworker, school bus driver, candy truck driver, horse farrier, college instructor, insurance salesman, along with many other jobs. Steve considered hard work the pillar of a successful life but above all his family and faith in the Lord was most important.

Steve’s hobbies included playing ‘Taps’ on the bugle during service members funerals, driving his favorite race care and coaching baseball. Steve would always take care of the ones in his life. If Steve said he was going to do something, he would go above and beyond to accomplish it. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Ben Adams ,Jr., and Annie Beatrice Lemley Adams, brother Mike Adams and sister Vicky Suzanne Adams Wright.

Steve is survived by: his loving wife, Rhonda Adams; his daughters Tiffany Earnest (Damon); Melissa Douglass (Dewayne); Stephanie Edwards (Steve); Lynette Lovelis (Scott); two sons Stevie Joe Adams (Katlin); and Greg Boeckman (Susan).

Steve had nine grandkids Katie (Justin), Tucker, Benjamin, Austin, Anna Grace (Sawyer) Zac, Kennedy, Caroline, Peyton, and Maddie; one great-granddaughter Ramzi Rose Robles, and more friends than can be counted.

Steve lived a life full of family, friends, and faith. He believed through Jesus Christ all things were possible and with the Lord’s guiding hand almost anything was achievable. Steve’s influence in the community and the example he set will be missed beyond measure.
