Janice “Jan” Kay Manasco, age 77, passed away Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, at her home in Dierks.

She was born in Nashville, Ark., on Sept. 18, 1945, to the late J.B and Opal Tollett Clark. She will be greatly missed at Holly Creek Missionary Baptist Church where she was an active member for the past 45 years. She was a public school teacher working with the Umpire and Dierks School Districts for 30 years and tutored many students after retiring. She was an active member of the Dierks community and an avid Dierks Outlaw fan and attended most of their sporting events. 

She is survived by: Her husband of 52 years, Tim Manasco of Dierks; a son, Clark Manasco and wife Kim of Hensley, Ark.; a daughter, Amber Helms of Little Rock, Ark.; a grandson, Andrew Helms and fiancé Olivia Parsons of Little Rock, Ark.; a granddaughter, Karsyn Helms of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Zane Clark and wife Donna of Benton, Ark., and Wayne Clark and wife Shirley of Nashville, Ark.; mother-in-law, Devonda Ford of Dierks, Ark.; sisters-in-law Derenda Butler and husband Rick of Dierks, Ark.; and Joy Manasco of Nashville, Ark.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A private family graveside service will be held under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
