Bobby Don Turner, 82, of Tollette, died July 26, 2023.
He was born Feb. 8, 1941, the son of the late Lewis and Flossie Turner.
He had served on the board of directors of Howard Memorial Hospital for many years before becoming an elected member of the Howard County Quorum Court. He was instrumental in the incorporation of the town of Tollette. He was a member of Tollette First Church of God for 82 years and served in many offices of the church.
He was preceded in death by his first son, Roary Trent.
Survivors include: his wife of 62 years, Charlene Turner; children Bobby Clent, Tracy Sherrell, and Stacy Tychell; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services were Friday and Saturday at the First Church of God in Tollette. Burial followed in the Crofton Cemetery at Tollette.
