The Nashville Chamber of Commerce will host Christmas in July on Saturday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to NCC executive director Tim Pinkerton.
The event will involve a trivia contest, eight local businesses, Beach Santa and more than $500 in prizes, Pinkerton said.
The participating businesses include PATAcakes Catering, Ivan Smith Furniture, Special Moments on Main, The Squirrel’s Nest, Merle Norman, Sharpe’s Department Store and Amelia’s Picalily.
All eight businesses will be open for the event with vendors, kids’ cookie decorating classes, face-painting and Beach Santa to take place at PATAcakes throughout the day.
Shoppers are urged to pick up a trivia game card at PATAcakes, then visit all eight businesses and answer their question, get the card stamped and return it to PATAcakes where it will be submitted for a drawing for a bucket of various items and gift certificates from all eight businesses.
The prizes will amount to more than $500, according to Pinkerton.
The winner does not need to be present to win.
