Anita Joyce Flaherty Rogers, 66, of Murfreesboro, Ark., passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, in Little Rock, Ark.
She was born Jan. 21, 1957, in Bluffton, Ind., the daughter of Bruenel Simmons Flaherty and the late Jimmy Dale Flaherty.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Pleasant Home Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had many hobbies which included crocheting, antiquing, reading, music, and traveling. She truly loved going to and walking on the beach.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother Dwayne Flaherty, and a sister-in-law, Marie Cogburn.
Survivors include: her husband, Roy Rogers of Murfreesboro, Ark.; a son, Daron Rogers and wife Brittany of Delight, Ark.; a brother, Bill Flaherty and wife Wilma of Murfreesboro, Ark.; sisters Betty Cawthon of Texarkana, Ark., Alecia Flaherty and Penny of Haskell, Ark., Dottie Smith of Nashville, Ark.; her two grandchildren, Kristen Rogers and Nathan Rogers, both of Delight, Ark.; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 23, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 24, at College Hill Cemetery, with Bro. John David Watson officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
