NPD warns of recent rash of vehicle break-ins

During the early morning hours of June 13, several vehicles were broken into in the City of Nashville, according to Nashville Police Chief Amy Marion.

There were reports taken of eighteen vehicles broken into and items taken from many of them, including wallets, credit cards, and one pistol.  There were also two vehicles stolen during this time frame. Of these reports, Deerwood Estates, Greenwood Edition, and Sypert/Jones Street area were the main targets.

There are at least five suspects that we are working on identifying at this time.  The investigation is still ongoing.  If you have information regarding these thefts, please contact Investigator Tim Bowlin at the Nashville Police Department.
