Area farmers’ markets opening this weekend; plant sale Saturday

The Nashville Farmers’ Market will be open Friday, May 26, from 7-11 a.m. or until sold out.

Vendors will have fresh produce, honey, jellies, eggs, crafts, indoor and outdoor house plants.

The Nashville Demonstration Organic Garden will have a Plant Sale at the greenhouse by

the Howard County Farmers’ Market Saturday, May 27, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon.

The Murfreesboro Farmer’s Market, sponsored by the Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce, is set to make its grand return for 2023 this Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 27.

The market is located cross the highway from C-Stop and behind the tennis courts at 18 Park Street in Murfreesboro.

In its third year of operation, the location featuring a pavilion will again charge $5 to each vendor in attendance.

The event is set rain or shine.

The market season will be held on every Saturday for 15 weeks from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

Vendors who are willing to pay in full are being offered a season pass at $60, which is a discount of three free weekends at the event and $15 off the full rate of $75.
