John William Ray Harberson, age 68, of Murfreesboro, Ark., passed away, Thursday, April 13, 2023, in Hot Springs, Ark. He was born Oct. 29, 1954, in Arkadelphia, Ark., the son of the late John Henry Harberson and Billie Jo Reeves Harberson.
John was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. He loved his family, fishing, and watching the Arkansas Razorbacks.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, David and James (Jim) Harberson and an uncle, Raymond Reeves.
Survivors include: his wife, Cecilia Harberson of Murfreesboro; three sons, William Harberson of Murfreesboro, Ark., Greg White and wife Lanie of Colorado Springs, Colo., Grant White of Wylie, Texas; three daughters, Misty Harberson of Center Point, Ark., Tara Hawthorne and husband Terry of Center Point, Ark., and Becca Herrington and husband Kevin of Dierks, Ark.; 16 grandchildren, Colby, Corey, Autumn, Michael, Kaitlyn, Elijah, Zoey, Whitney, Aubrey, Ian, Joelle, Isaac, Ella, Jacen, Judah, and Jaron; five great-grandchildren; as well as two aunts, Helen Bissell and Charlene Reeves both of Nashville, Ark.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 17, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 17, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, with Bro. Johnny Baker and Bro. Curtis Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow in Sunshine Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
