The second annual Keith Stone Memorial Car Show is set to be held on April 29 on the historic Pike County Courthouse Square.

Looking to build off the original’s success, the event will run from 9 a.m-2 p.m.

Trophies will be aplenty for participants, including the top three from pre-1949, the top three from the decades of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and a top three from 1990-present.

Other trophies will include the top three corvettes, top three trucks, best of show, mayor’s choice, police chief’s choice, and the Keith Stone A-Model award.

Entry fees for the car show will be $20 for cars and motorcycles. There will be no charge for tractors or steam engines that wish to participate in the event.

A pushrod drop contest will also be conducted at 10:30 a.m.

Door prizes will be available for entrants, including Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce chamber bucks, and a $500 cash prize drawing will be held.

The Joe Ledbetter Band will be on hand to provide live music from 11 a.m., and radio station B-99.5 will hold a live remote from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. All present from an event can register for a $99.50 drawing that the radio station will conduct.

The car show will operate a 50/50 pot, with proceeds being donated to the CADC Senior Adult Center in Murfreesboro.

A bounce house will be on hand for children and event t-shirts will be available for purchase.

There is no charge for the public to attend and see the cars in-person.
