Jacqueline Cornish, age 92 of Murfreesboro, Ark., passed away on Feb. 7, 2023, in Murfreesboro Nursing Center. She was born on April 28, 1930, the daughter of the late William “Bill” Bradford and Stella Mae Plunk Bradford.
Mrs. Cornish was a member of the Murfreesboro Church of Christ. She was a homemaker, as well as helped her husband in the Pike County Assessor’s Office.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, John Paul Cornish, and her sister, Willie Mae Strawn.
Survivors include: her three daughters, Paulette Ellis, Jo Ann Stevens, and Donna Lane; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at the Murfreesboro Church of Christ, with Buddy Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Murfreesboro Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
