Linda L. Schooley Rodgers, age 74, of Nashville, went to her Eternal Home on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, in Nashville.
She was born Oct. 7, 1948, in Nashville to the late Boy Schooley and Ruby Jennette Smith Schooley. Linda was raised in the south part of the county known as Schooley Ville. She was a member of Temperanceville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and the best wife a man could have. She loved to fish and caring for and raising her family. Linda loved being a country girl.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and four of her siblings: Sherry Copeland, Helen Bagley, Ray Schooley and Ellane Furlow.
Survivors include: her best friend for over 58 years, her husband, Jerry Rodgers of Nashville; three children, Michele Harris of Eagletown, Okla., Terry Rodgers of Nashville, and Chris Rodgers, also of Nashville; a sister; Betty Faye Jamison of Nashville; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Sue Woods of Nashville; a large host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday night Feb. 14, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at Nashville Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2023, at 10 a.m. in Bingen-Ozan Cemetery at Bingen, Ark., with Bro. David Cassady officiating.
