Nashville Mayor Billy Ray Jones has proclaimed Constitution Week, Sept. 17-23, in Nashville with the aid of the Mine Creek-Paraclifta Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The DAR petitioned congress and the celebration of the constitution began in 1955. The event reminds citizens of the necessity of their participation.
