Evelyn K. Steuart, age 95 of Nashville, Ark., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, in Nashville, Ark.
She was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Nashville, Ark., the daughter of the late Harvey and Clara Burkhart Keaster.
Mrs. Steuart was a member of First Baptist Church in Nashville. She was a longtime bookkeeper for a pharmacy in Arlington, and when she and James moved back for retirement she served as bookkeeper for Nashville Drug Store. She was a homemaker who loved to watch westerns with her husband and followed her beloved Dallas Cowboys through thick and thin.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, James Steuart, two brothers, Archie and Clyde Keaster.
Survivors include: 11 nephews and nieces, Homer Dale Evans, Bob Lewis, Freela Hudson, Candy Hyde, Charlotte Bell, Thomas Steuart, Jennifer Kirk, Bobby Keaster, Billy Keaster, Tammy Young, and Alicia Patrick.
Visitation was 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at First Baptist Church in Nashville.
Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Restland Memorial Park in Nashville, with Bro. David Blase and Bro. Kevin Sartin officiating.
