Lonnie C. “LC” Coulter, Jr., 92, of the Hickory Grove Community, died Thursday, Sept, 28, 2017.
He was born May 14, 1925, to the late Lonnie C. Coulter, Sr., and Minnie Smith Coulter. He was a member of Hickory Grove CME Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florene Coulter; two sons, Kenneth and Gene Lewis Coulter; a brother, Doris Coulter; four sisters, Daisy Jenkins, Waltrean Milan, Ada Deloney and Helen Deloney.
Survivors include: eight daughters, Doris (John) Tolliver of Springfield, Mo., Elsie Harbour of Toledo, Ohio, Katie (Terry) Malone of Frisco, Texas, Minnie Coulter of Texarkana, Ark., Jacklin (Steve) Womack of Little Rock, Ark., Angelor (Robert) Wilkes of Springfield, Mo., Sherally (Ron) Haskin of Bryan, Texas, Anna (Christopher) Martin of Little Rock; three sons, Lonnie Jerry Coulter of Fayetteville, N.C., Terry and Gary Coulter of Mineral Springs; two sisters, Angie Crofton of Tollette, and Hazel Johnson of Hot Springs; a brother, D.D. Coulter of Lockesburg. Also, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held from 1:30-2:15 p.m., before the funeral service at 2:30 on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at Roland Piggee Memorial Baptist Church located west of Mineral Springs on Hwy. 27. Officiating will be Pastor Phylis Hamilton.
Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery near Nashville. Arrangements are by Hicks Funeral Home, Hope.
