Joye Fern Manasco, 79, of Umpire, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at her home.
She was born May 24, 1938, in Umpire, the daughter of the late W.T. and Bessie Kirby Strasner. She was a retired school teacher, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Flenoia Manasco.
Survivors include: two sons, Todd Manasco and wife, Anissa, Jason Manasco and wife, Amanda Manasco, all of Umpire; a daughter, Mary Beth Patterson and husband, Rick, of Van Buren, Ark.; a sister, Jessie Pendergrass of Umpire; also grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Umpire with Don Fortner, Don Vaughn and John Henry Williams officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks.
Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6 at the funeral home in Dierks.
