Dean Louella Hornsby Spring passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 in Nashville, Ark.

She was born on June 26, 1929 in Oneida, Ky., the daughter of the late Alec and Mint Tankersley Hornsby.

Mrs. Spring was a member of the Pleasant Springs Baptist Church in McCaskill. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hazel Dean; her second husband, Henry Spring; two sons, Alex Gay Dean and Eric Dean; one daughter, Clara Gadbury,; a son-in-law, Mike Tedford; seven brothers, and one sister.

She is survived by: six sons Harold Wayne Dean and wife, Etta, of Harrison, Ind.; Thomas Dean of Nashville, Ark.; Darrell Dean and wife, Julie, of Little Rock, Ark.; George Dean of Sparkman, Ark.; Daniel Dean of Sparkman, Ark.; Billy Heib Dean and wife,Celeste, of McCaskill, Ark.; four daughters, Frances Tedford of Nashville, Ark.; Christine Cole and Stanley Scoggin of Hope, Ark.; Vickie Wish of Claremore, Okla.; and Audrey Spring and husband, Randall, of Spring Hill, Ark.; one sister, Margene Farmer of Cincinnati, Ohio; 28 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. As well as special friends Clyde Gilbert, Joye Gilbert, and Dennis Dellinger.

Visitation was 6:00 to 8:00 p.m, Friday, Aug. 4, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville.

Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville. Burial followed in Restland Memorial Park, with Bro. Keith Mays and Bro. Jarod Hendry officiating.
