BOSSIER CITY, LA – Ms. Elizabeth Teague has gone home to be with her sweet Jesus. Celebration of life will be at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Her family will welcome friends to Hill Crest Funeral Home for visitation on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, from 5-7 p.m.

Elizabeth was born to her loving parents, Ben and Icy Copeland on Aug. 14, 1938, in Highland, Ark. She graduated from Murfreesboro High School in 1956. 

She was preceded in death by parents, brothers, sisters, and her beloved husband and best friend, Edward L. Teague, Sr. 

She is survived by: her children, Edward L. Teague, Jr. of Newhope Ark., James A. Teague and wife, Brigitte, of Bossier City, La., Brenda M. Caskey and husband, Steve, of Haughton, La., and Amanda (Ami) Jones and husband, Jeremy, of Bossier City, La.; her dear sisters, Norma Schroeder of Kenner, La., and Betty Johnson and husband, Jack, of Ben Lomond, Ark.; grandchildren, Jamie Miller and husband Mike of Bossier City, La., Jennifer Bell and husband D.J. of Hot Springs, Ark., Edward (Eddie) L. Teague III and wife, Nicky, of Murfreesboro, Ark., Jessica Teague and husband, D.J., of Ruston, La., and Jackie Clinton and husband, Dustin, of Spring, Texas, and great-grandchildren, Peyton, Kynner, Waylon, Dyllon, Dixie, Kayleigh, Shannon, Joey, Xavier, Parker, Madison, Hunter, Alayna, Jameson, and Emery.

The family would like to extend special thanks to: Dr. James Jackson, Dr. Paul Cole, Dr. Michael Rokaw, Dr. Nihar Patel, Pilgrim Manor and staff, and Nightingale Hospice and staff for the wonderful care they provided. Also, many thanks to Bobby Stanfill, Bill and Sandy Alley, Eva Carter and Ms. Teague’s Sunday school class at First Bossier.
