Sallie Langley passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2017 surrounded by loving family. She was born and raised in Nashville, Ark., and during her life journey she proceeded to grace the cities of Texarkana, Texas; Kansas City Mo.; and the last 40 years of her life in Temple, Texas.
Sallie loved God, Heights Baptist Church, her family, neighbors, and friends. She lovingly contributed to her community through Sunday school, as a prayer chain warrior, participating in the Order of the Eastern Star, and volunteering for Meals on Wheels and Kindred Hospice. She loved quilting, gardening, genealogy, attending to others and she especially delighted and guided her family.
Sallie was the widow of Otis Langley, her husband of 22 years, and Ollie Campbell, her husband of 3 years. She is survived by her children, Nancy Moore of Austin, Texas, and Carlton Otis Langley of Kansas City, Mo., and her grandchildren: Christopher Langley, Diane Wardrup, David Burns, Joan Huang, and Elizabeth Lund, their spouses and numerous extended family. Her family, neighbors, friends and church family will miss her dearly.
