Emma Sue Smith, 84, of Nashville, Ark., passed away on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 in Nashville.
She was born Dec. 26, 1932 in Nashville, Ark., the daughter of the late Wallace Jackson and Ella Mae Ferguson Jackson.
She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ. Ms. Smith was a loyal Scrapper and was the secretary at Nashville Junior High School for 23 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Angela Cay Smith, and a son, Kerry Dale Smith.
Survivors include: her son, Kevin S. Smith and wife, Tammy, of Nashville; four grandchildren, Justin Smith and wife, Chelsea, Hannah Chancellor and husband, Aaron, Max Dale Smith, and Angela Smith Farris and husband, Clay; one great-granddaughter, Sierra Brooke Chancellor, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2017 at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville.
Graveside services were 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 26, 2017 at Restland Cemetery with David Williams officiating. Under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
