Despite an early threat of rain, visitors to the Nashville City Park had nice weather on Saturday for the annual Pack the Park Car Show.
All money raised from the event helps support the Howard County Historical Society and E.A. Williams Museum.
The car show had more than 65 registered cars with a total of 81 cars and trucks showing. Participants arrived from Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana.
Joyce Banes of Nashville received the Best of Show Truck award with a 1954 Chevy pickup. Barbara Winchester of Mineral Springs received the Best of Show Car award with a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster. Event organizers thanked O’Reilly Auto Parts, Southwest Ivan Smith Furniture, Starz Family Restaurant, York Gary Autoplex, The Nashville-News Leader and B 99.5 for their help in sponsoring the event.
