Don Harold Hicks, age 86 of Nashville, Ark.,, passed away Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 in Nashville. He was born July 29, 1930 in Hot Springs, Ark., to the late Benjamin Franklin and Autie Kinsey Hicks.
He was a retired restaurant retailer and was a Navy veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville. He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting and golfing. He was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Hicks was an avid photographer and was a past president of the Arkansas Photographers’ Association.
Preceding him in death other than his parents were his wife, Wanda Hicks; a son, Blake Hicks; a grandson, Alex Hicks, and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: his son, Rick Hicks and wife, Ann, of Nashville; a daughter, Donna Erickson and husband, Jim, of Recede, Calif.; grandchildren, Courtney Hicks of Austin, Texas, Chase Hicks of Texarkana, Casey Squires and husband, Drew, of North Little Rock; also nieces, nephews and other family and friends too numerous to name.
Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 at Nashville Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m.
