Mr. Johnny A. Knighton 66, of Spring Hill, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Hope, Arkansas. He was born February 6, 1950 in Lewisville, Arkansas to David and Lois Helen Dodson Knighton. Johnny was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one son, Charlie Knighton; and one brother, David Wayne Knighton. He is survived by his wife, Linda Knighton of Spring Hill; two sons, Andy Wade Knighton (Jaime) of Texarkana and Kelly Knighton (Rochelle) of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Shayne Bean (Randy) of Texarkana and Sherry Applegate (David) of Spring Hill; mother-in-law, Mary Jaynes of Spring Hill; one brother, Larry Knighton (Janice) of Shreveport, Louisiana; grandchildren, Meghan, Heather, Hunter, Alli, Zoe and Chance; great grandchild, Cara and many nieces. Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 between the hours of 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home, Hope, Arkansas. Services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eric Fischer officiating.
