Nashville High School EAST students are partnering with the Howard County Health Coalition and local law enforcement in an effort to put a stop to the abuse of prescription drugs. Alongside the annual community wide take-back event which will be held April 30th, some EAST students have put together a mini take-back event that will be held at the Senior Center in Nashville on April 21st. EAST students would like to encourage seniors to participate in this event. Students will speak at the Senior Center on April 19th to educate and encourage the attendees to participate in their project and explain why it’s so important to safely dispose of unused prescription drugs.
