Jerry Smith, 69, of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Little Rock. He was born on December 16, 1946 in Cotton Plant, AR, the son of the late Kelsie Smith and Gunell (McCrary) Smith. He was the minister of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Smith of Nashville; one daughter, Jerri Lynn Lovelis of Nashville; three grandchildren, Jeffery Lovelis and fiancé, Megan Paul, Austin Lovelis and fiancé, Bekah Raulerson, and Jesus Hernandez; and one sister, Dixie Jo Newton of Nashville. Graveside services were held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM in County Line Cemetery with Brother, David Cassady officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
