The Howard County Children’s Center will be holding their 20th annual radio-thon, which is sponsored by the Nashville Rotary Club on May 11. This year’s fundraiser will be broadcast on CCCUA’s radio station, KTYC 88.5, ED 88, with video streaming planned for both the Children Center’s website and Facebook pages.
Last year’s telethon raised over $50,000 dollars in money for the center, and also included a donation of 23.7 acre tract of land that was donated to the Center.
Planned hosts for this year’s event include Jimmy Dale, Loren Hinton, and Donny Woods. The Radio-thon will be held this year at HCCC.
Funds raised during this year’s Radio-Thon will be dedicated towards the building of a new Daycare, DayHab, and Therapy Center for the Children.
Any donations can be made directly to the Howard County Children’s Center.
