According to a press release provided by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Tyler Caldwell of Mount Ida was arrested after officers discovered a variety of drugs at his residence, Sunday, April 24.
The report states that MCSO Deputies Chad Davis and Steven Gibbs responded to a call at Caldwell’s residence in Mount Ida. During the course of the investigation at the residence, deputies could smell an odor of Marijuana coming from a car parked outside the residence.
18th West Judicial Drug Task Force Investigator Mike May was contacted and responded to the scene. The report states that the deputies conducted a search of the property and vehicles. The search allegedly resulted the discovery of a large amount of Methamphetamine inside the residence. Marijuana was also allegedly located on the premises and a female at the residence was discovered to allegedly be holding blotters of LSD.
Caldwell was arrested and is currently being held on a $55,000 bond. The investigation into the LSD is ongoing at this time.
