According to a press release issued by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office two of their deputies were involved in a shooting.
The release states that neither of the officers were injured, but the suspect was transported to an area hospital.
The release states that both deputies have been placed on administrative leave as a result of the incident.
The Arkansas State Police is currently conducting the investigation.
Neither the suspect or the officers involved have been named at this time.
