The deadline to pay the $100 per boat entry fee for the annual Husqvarna HCCC Benefit Bass Tournament is April 9, the day of the tournament.
The event will be held at Lake Greeson with the start scheduled for 6:30 a.m.
Boat check-in begins at 5 a.m., and the weigh-in at SWAHA Landing begins at 3 p.m.
Top prize is $2,500 cash. The second place boat will receive $1,000.
There are cash prizes through 25th place. A Big Bass prize of $300 is sponsored by Futrell Marine. Second place Big Bass prize is $100.
Alfred Neeley Service Center is giving a 50th place prize of a set of four trailer tires. Neeley, a longtime Howard County Children’s Center board member, is also the traditional ‘starter’ for the tournament.
